Fundraising for Let the Forest Stand

Let the forest stand is a church initiative of the association Faith and Forest in partnership with the Naturarvet Fundraising Foundation. The aim is to protect old-growth forests from logging and preserve them for future generations. For thousands of years, forests have contributed to the life of the Church, and now priests, deacons and other church people want to give back to the forest. By becoming a monthly donor or making a gift, you can help preserve the richness of forests that have not yet been logged. This is part of the reconciliation process with the Sami and with the land that is the basis of all life we know. Funds raised go towards acquiring forest properties worthy of protection, which are then managed by Naturarvet according to our statutes, meaning that the forest is protected in perpetuity.
