August Nilsson

August's short life was filled with joie de vivre and love. We want to preserve his memory and the spark of life he showed by preserving life in Djupsjöåns old-growth forest. Just a few miles from the mixed pine and hardwood forest is the village of Ottsjö, where August experienced both sledding and freshly picked cloudberries.

For his siblings and all the other children, we hope that August's memory can contribute to a preserved forest - and a slightly brighter future.

The gifts that have been collected have together been earmarked as a common area in Djupsjöån's old-growth forest at Sönner-Djupsjön, Mörsil, Jämtland. The area is shown here on the Djupsjöån collection map.
