HRH Crown Princess Victoria turns 40 in 10 days. She is a person with a genuine and personal commitment to the environment, chosen as an ambassador for the UN Sustainable Development Goals and particularly committed to the marine environment, with the Baltic Sea closest to her heart. At the same time, Victoria loves being out in the forest and countryside with her family. Keeping old-growth forest land undisturbed is important for the quality of our surface waters and seas and for the possibility of a rich outdoor life.
The best gift for her is simply that we keep a piece of old-growth forest to show our appreciation. We hope that by collecting Victoria oaks, the public, the Corn Princess and other interested parties will be inspired and realise how important it is to protect the last remnants of the Swedish old-growth forest. Would you like to help us raise 40 000 SEK (for 40 years), which is equivalent to the preservation of 4 000 square metres of the Solliden old-growth forest around the Victoria oaks? Click here! We intend to hand over a gift certificate from Solliden in Ale, Bohuslän to the Crown Princess at Solliden in Borgholm, Öland.
