Yes, it is the love of the forest and the desire to protect all life that makes Naturarvet exist, and aims to acquire old-growth forest to preserve for all time. And it is your commitment and love for the forest that makes it possible in the first place. Thank you so much for all the contributions, cheers, gifts and support you gave to the possibility of acquiring "Jämtskogen".
Unfortunately, it didn't work out this time. "Jämtskogen" ended up in bidding and the price ended up being more than two million above the starting price. A sum we unfortunately could not match this time.
So now we are looking for another unprotected old-growth forest to acquire. To our delight, there is currently another forest with high natural values that is for sale, and that we want to take a closer look at. We will of course get back to you with more information as soon as we can.
And believe it or not...it's getting close to Christmas. But before that it's Father's Day! So what could be better than to give your father the silver birch as a Father's Day present?
