The Naturarvet Foundation Naturarvet to promote biodiversity and ensure carbon sequestration by purchasing and conserving forests with high natural value. Since our founding in 2004, we have, together with dedicated donors, conserved nearly 1,000 hectares of forest—and we’ve only just begun.

We are currently looking for a new, responsible colleague. The role is flexible and can be tailored to some extent to suit you, depending on your experience and strengths. You need to have expertise in finance, administration, and communication. But it’s also important that you’re passionate about the work, driven, and committed to long-term growth with us—and, above all, that we’re a good fit for each other.

About the role

You will take a holistic approach to the business, both strategically and operationally. The role involves a high degree of personal responsibility and a proactive work style, but key decisions and priorities are always discussed and agreed upon with colleagues on an ongoing basis. It is essential that you enjoy working remotely, in a collaborative environment where you drive the business forward together and continuously align on direction and decisions.

Examples of job responsibilities:

  • Finance – Daily Management and Annual Reports
  • Donor Services – Build Relationships and Answer Questions Across Various Channels
  • Web – updating content and managing images
  • Forests – Management and Identification of New Areas for Conservation
  • Communication – reaching new audiences and developing partnerships

We would like you to:

  • Has relevant academic qualifications
  • I have experience with practical accounting tasks, follow-up, and annual reports 
  • Is a good communicator with an eye for color and design
  • Has experience with website updates (preferably WordPress) 
  • Fluent in Swedish and English
  • Knowledge of or interest in nature/forests

It would be a plus if you also have several of the following:

  • Experience in fundraising or working for a fundraising organization
  • Experience in purchasing real estate
  • Familiarity with or understanding of geographic data and mapping tools
  • Experience with software such as Photoshop, Acrobat, InDesign, or similar programs
  • Social media skills, copywriting, and/or photography and video production skills
  • Expertise in natural resource surveys 

Employment

  • Scope: approximately 75% remote
  • Type: Project-based position with the potential for a permanent position
  • Start date: August 1, 2026, or as agreed
  • The role is tailored to the right candidate
