Lo Jarl | Operations Manager & Ecologist
Has previously worked in fundraising for Naturarvet and for several other organisations. He is an ecologist with a commitment to nature, the environment, charity and MR issues since the 1970s through a number of organisations and including as a small-scale organic farmer, educator and entrepreneur.
At the same time as my life partner Ywonne (also a non-profit coach of mine) and I found Naturarvet , 'our' favourite forest was being cut down. This became a strong motivation for our mission to increase fundraising for Naturarvet. We did this mainly by recruiting more forest adopters. The first to go during the campaign to become forest patron was myself. It is a privilege to contribute together with Ywonne to protect the last Swedish old-growth forests. It is with great humility that we accept donations from private individuals, companies, organisations and government grants. The joy is indescribably great when we manage to find a old-growth forest that Naturarvet can acquire and protect forever. The dream is to reach my and Ywonne's vision of the '100,000 - club' - that Naturarvet has 100,000 donors contributing to protect forests worth 100 million SEK per year. One old-growth forest in each county is a good start.
