Update on Skarnhålans old-growth forest

The collection for Skarnhålans old-growth forest is going according to plan. forest plots and umbrella trees have been popular and are temporarily out of stock. The new forest plots will be posted shortly and new umbrella trees will be documented in May and posted before midsummer. In May we will do a survey and hopefully the process of land registration will go faster than for Solliden. However, the inclusion of Skarnhålan in Ekliden Nature Reserve will be delayed until at least 2020 due to budget cuts to nature conservation in the 2018 autumn budget passed by Parliament, as the County Administrative Board's funding for nature protection has been significantly reduced.
