Passing the baton
Dear old-growth forest friends!
- After 11 years with Naturarvet , we are stepping aside. It has been an amazing journey. Naturarvet has thrived and everything has quintupled, total income, allocation to the purpose and area of old-growth forest acquired (now close to 1000 hectares).
None of it would have happened without you, generous, old-growth forest-loving donors. Thank you for making it possible! Through successful collaboration with government agencies and thanks to Ywonne working half of the years pro bono, our own salaries have been well covered by government funds. All donations have gone directly to the ancient forest.
We will continue to fight for Mother Earth and ancient forests. Hope to meet again in another context.

On June 1, Lotta Ihse and Pamela Groop will take over as new directors. They will share the full-time position and together lead, run and further develop Naturarvets important work - to protect and preserve Sweden's unique old-growth forests.
Lotta and Pamela are two committed forces with solid experience in business management, finance, communication, forestry and nature tourism. Together with a committed board and a professional team of experts in biology, ecology and forest inventory, they will continue to work towards the organization's ambitious goals.
- This is more than a job. It is a responsibility we take very seriously. We are here to act quickly and forcefully together with all you donors who want to preserve what is still there," say Lotta and Pamela.
