Leif Danielson
In memory of Leif, we wish that memorial gifts are collected to earmark a surface in Ullersjöbäckens old-growth forest. That area will be preserved forever through Naturarvet as part of the necessary commitment to life on earth.
Leif always said that paradise must be here on earth, it's so beautiful. He didn't understand how anyone could want to destroy it. That's why he tried to save as much as he could during his life. He often said with enthusiasm: "I have a new forest coming up". He really fought for the forest to the end. He was our hero!
Ullersjöbäckens old-growth forest was close to his heart. He started visiting the area back in the 70s. We had many nice moments in the forest and on the mountain and it feels like a nice place to remember him.
You can give your memorial gift in different ways:
1. Swish any amount by scanning the code below with the Swish app. Write who the gift is from after 'In memory of Leif:' in the message.
2. create your own memorial sheet here in forest shop and email it to the funeral home. We will arrange for printing and mailing if you choose to do so at checkout in forest shop.
3. give a gift via Klarna or Swish and SEND AN EMAIL with your name and the date and amount of the gift.
4. Give a gift with the message "Leif's memory" via bankgiro or plusgiro.
The picture at the top is of Leif sitting by Ullersjöbäcken in 2011. Eleven years later, Naturarvet, without knowing that this was a favorite place in the mountains for Leif, was able to acquire Ullersjöbäckens old-growth forest. Leif was so happy that a forest that meant so much to him had been preserved for all time. All gifts collected will be earmarked together as a common area in Ullersjöbäckens old-growth forest at Stora Blåsjön, Frostviken, Jämtland. The area will be drawn on the Ullersjöbäckens collection map.
