If Naturarvet had had SEK 100 million two years ago, we would have been able to buy a 7,000-hectare area of fine mountain forest worthy of protection at Björkvattnet in Strömsund municipality, Jämtland. If we had had 15 million a few months ago, we would have been able to buy 2 000 hectares of equally fine mountain forest a little further north towards the Norwegian border in Frostvikarna. If we had had SEK 10 million almost two years ago, we might have been able to buy 900 hectares of fine old-growth forest, mountainous forest in Härjedalen. If we had had SEK 15-20 million in April, we would have been able to buy 75 hectares of protected forest in Närke, 400 hectares of mountain old-growth forest near Ånnsjön in Jämtland and another property in Närke. More money is needed and more donors are needed. We still have our vision of the 100,000 Club. It starts with you as a monthly donor!
