From contact to contract in one week

The purchase of the properties at Fågelskärsudden and Blågrundsfjärden in Söderboda had to wait 9 months for a land survey. When we finally got an administrator two weeks ago, we contacted a neighbor to see if they wanted to join us now that it was possible to avoid the waiting time. And the old forest-loving neighbors east of Fågelskärsudden did.

A week later we signed a contract. With the first acquisition of the year last Thursday, we are now expanding the protected area in Söderboda on Gräsö to the east by 23.5 ha. This means that a total of 112 ha old-growth forest with high natural values, on both sides of Svartsundet, is now protected in perpetuity through the ownership of Naturarvets.
