4 forests become 3

Funding for 2 forests is secured - now the focus is on fundraising for the third in two weeks.

Two weeks after we went public with the unique opportunity to acquire 4 forests in 1 month we have collected 2.9 million kr! It has come in through two large private donations of 2 and 0.5 million SEK and other donations of 0.4 million SEK. We would like to humbly thank so many for their commitment! We have never before raised so much money in such a short time.

What's new: With the funds previously raised and the donations of the last two weeks, we now have over SEK 10 million in the bank and financing of the two highest priority forests. WOW! Forest 4 is sold so we have released it.

Forest 3 now gets our full focus! Three major private donors in Naturarvet have together pledged SEK 2.5 million in interest-free loans. The money is pledged as a match to all incoming donations from now on until 19 April, which is the closing date for bids on the property.

Now your gift is matched by an equal amount of interest-free loan to acquire 93 hectares unique wilderness in Dalsland. By April 19, we should be able to finance the acquisition with a total of SEK 6-8 million (depending on the final sale price). Your gift is welcome and vital.
