Today we're celebrating!

Yay! Today we’re celebrating with you. A fantastic limestone conifer forest on Gotland has been added to the list of Naturarvet’s forests. Naturarvet signed a contract and gained access to the forest known as Runes old-growth forest on June 15, 2026. We have now also secured the right of first refusal, so the forest is ours. Thank you to all the donors who made this possible.

We’re also celebrating the fact that “ Naturarvet ” had the opportunity to talk about the old-growth forest to 450 people during the Climate Seminar in Östersund on September 17. There were many great events throughout the day. If you’re curious, you can view the full program here >>
