A passion for old-growth forests

Many of us who follow, support, and contribute to Naturarvet efforts Naturarvet purchase old-growth forest by a strong passion. A passion for making a tangible difference. A passion for protecting those who cannot speak for themselves. A passion for contributing to a living planet. Would you like to get involved on a more regular basis? As a board member or even as an employee at Naturarvet?

There is an urgent need to preserve Sweden’s last remaining old-growth forests, so we need to strengthen our organization. That is why we are looking fora driven staff member to support our day-to-day operations ,as well as additional dedicated board members—preferablywith experience and expertise in forest acquisition, fundraising, finance, real estate, real estate law, and/or ecology. Another person driven by a passion for the forest is Anne-Katrin Würthele. She is an ecologist and nature guide who supports Naturarvet donating all the proceeds from the sale of her homemade Köxiken resin ointment. We think that’s fantastic.

Don’t forget to take a photo of a species, post it on your social media feed, and tag @naturarvet. We’ll like and share it, and we’ll fill our feeds with biodiversity all the way up to International Day for Biological Diversity on May 22.
