Ullersjöbäckens old-growth forest is located in the eastern part of Frostviken - a biodiversity hotspot that is largely unprotected. 264 ha old-growth forest east of Stor-Blåsjön is now protected for all time through Naturarvet Thank you thanks to your fantastic donors and sponsors who made it possible. 👥➕💰❤️🌳🍄🌲

For the first time, Naturarvet has fundraising for two forests at the same time. You can now choose to earmark your donations as forest squares or larger areas in two forests:

• Natural mountain forest and natural value threat potential at Ullersjöbäcken and the eastern shore of Stor-Blåsjön in Frostviken, northern Jämtland.
• The coastal carbon sink and natural value threat site Fågelskärsudden on the eastern side of Gräsö in northern Roslagen, northeastern Uppland.
